Former friend Brandon Straka reveals the truth about Scott Presler

he knives are out in MAGA world — and one of Scott Presler's former allies is leading the charge.

Brandon Straka, founder of the #WalkAway movement and once one of Presler's closest friends, has launched a blistering public campaign accusing the GOP voter-registration star of exaggerating his accomplishments, misleading supporters, and cultivating a carefully crafted public persona that bears little resemblance to reality.

In a viral video titled "The Truth About Scott Presler... Part 1," Straka didn't mince words.

"He's not brave, he's not kind, he's not grateful and he's not honest," Straka said of his former ally.

Among the most explosive allegations: Straka claims Presler inflated voter-registration figures that helped make him a MAGA celebrity and questioned some of the eye-popping claims surrounding Presler's Pennsylvania operation.

Straka has also mocked repeated claims from Presler supporters that he registered 180,000 Amish voters in Pennsylvania — a figure critics note exceeds the state's total Amish population.

The feud has exposed a deeper divide inside the pro-Trump movement, where accusations of "grifting" have become increasingly common as activists battle for influence, donors, and credit.

Straka has gone even further, alleging Presler routinely takes credit for accomplishments that cannot be independently verified and benefits from a media narrative that portrays him as the singular force behind Republican voter gains.

Presler has denied the allegations, calling some of Straka's claims "absurd" and attributing certain discrepancies to staff errors. He maintains his voter-registration numbers are legitimate and says critics are attempting to undermine his work.

But Straka isn't backing down.

His message to the MAGA movement is simple: stop taking the legend at face value.

The question now hanging over one of the right's most celebrated activists isn't whether Scott Presler is famous.

It's whether the accomplishments that made him famous are as impressive as advertised.
