Scott Presler’s Brother a Major Dem Donor

Scott Presler has become one of the biggest stars in conservative grassroots politics, raising millions and earning praise from President Trump allies for his voter-registration efforts.

But a viral social media post is raising uncomfortable questions about Presler's political orbit — and his track record in one key battleground state.

The post notes that Presler's brother, Robert Presler Jr., has reportedly donated almost exclusively to Democratic candidates in Wisconsin. It also points out that Presler's father, Robert Presler, served in the Obama administration as Director for Information Operations in Special Operations and Combating Terrorism.

The biggest question, however, centers on Wisconsin itself.

Presler heavily promoted conservative turnout efforts around the state's high-profile Supreme Court elections in 2023 and 2025. Republicans suffered double-digit defeats in both contests despite national attention and significant outside spending.

Those losses stand in sharp contrast to Wisconsin's razor-thin statewide margins elsewhere. Republicans won the state's 2022 U.S. Senate race by roughly one point, and President Trump carried Wisconsin by about one point in 2024.

The result has left some conservatives asking whether the massive investment in Presler-backed organizing efforts produced measurable returns.

"Millions of dollars dumped into these races and into his organization with absolutely nothing to show for it," the social media post claimed.

There is no evidence that Presler's family members' political activities influenced his own work. But as Republicans continue searching for answers after consecutive Wisconsin Supreme Court defeats, critics are increasingly scrutinizing the activist's record in the Badger State.

For some grassroots conservatives, the question isn't whether Presler works hard. It's whether the results match the hype.
