STRANGER DANGER

For the last six months, as hard as it is to believe, alleged deviant Scott Presler has had his sights on only one man: Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
Without fail, for 184 days, Presler has heckled Thune on X, demanding that he pass the SAVE America Act. There's got to be a word for this level of fixation. Oh yeah. Stalker.

Psycho Scott has also taken his campaign beyond social media, recently appearing on The Benny Show to argue that Senate Republicans, and Thune in particular, haven't done enough to get the legislation across the finish line.
Thune, for his part, has handled his stalker with grace. The South Dakota senator has repeatedly said the bill simply doesn't have the 60 votes needed to overcome a Senate filibuster. In other words, it isn't a question of wanting the legislation to pass. It's a question of arithmetic.
That hasn't seemed to appease Presler though. If he can't wear Thune's skin, the only thing he'll settle for is the SAVE America Act.
So, he's continued to blast Thune online, at one point promising to fight the issue with "fire" and "a gosh-darned flamethrower." Flaming? How predictable, Scott.
Even as Senate Republicans argue they're boxed in by procedural realities, Presler has kept his gaze creepily onThune, labeling the majority leader as the primary obstacle to the bill's success.
If Thune's assessment is accurate, no amount of tweets, podcast appearances, or metaphorical flamethrowers can conjure the seven Democratic votes Republicans would still need to break a filibuster.
In other words, Thune isn't interested, Presler. Better luck on Grindr, ya creep!
