Face Card Declined!

"The party don't start til I walk in"...was not the case for Scott Presler this past Thursday. Presler was in Rapid City, South Dakota to attend the Republican Party State Convention, but it seems like Trump's gay best friend didn't get the welcome he bargained for.
"I’m not here in South Dakota for fun. Rather, I’m here to be your voice," wrote Presler in one tweet. Apparently, no one was having that.
A now viral video on Presler's X account documents him being turned away from the Republican Party dinner with Senator Majority leader John Thune. Despite having a ticket, Presler whined to his followers selfie-style that he was denied entry, before being upstaged by Matthew Bruner, South Dakota GOP's sergeant-at-arms. "You just get the hell out of here," the delegate exclaims, before leaving Presler meandering awkwardly at the entrance.
Subsequently, it's been reported that Matthew Bruner has been relieved of his duties, in, perhaps, an attempt by the GOP to save face after Presler's viral hissy fit. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear cowboy hats. We salute you for your service, Matthew Bruner.
Presler, for his part, admonished Thune's staff for treating "grassroots organizers" this way, but given Presler's scandals, would you really want him at your dinner either? Just goes to show that even Trump's support is wearing thin in some Republican circles.
