LOSER PRESLER FAILS TO PASS SAVE ACT

Ooft, bad news for Presler, along with all the cronies supporting this stupid bill. 

Seems like The Persistence…didn't pay off. After months of threats, pressure campaigns, and frantic tweets, and even a desperate promise to cut his hair (???), the SAVE America Act has officially failed to pass before the Senate's August recess. 

Contrary to whatever garbage Presler spews on his twitter diary, this shouldn't really come as a surprise. Republicans never had the votes. With only 53 GOP senators, Republicans needed Democratic support to reach the 60 votes required to overcome a filibuster. 

Trump repeatedly demanded Senate Majority Leader John Thune find a way around that obstacle, sending his bitch of an attack Presler after him on Twitter, and even calling to eliminate the filibuster. 

Boohoo. Wah. It didn't work. 

Facing the music, Republicans tried to pivot, attempting to advance a smaller-scale voter-ID proposal instead. 

Yeah…that didn't work either, with the narrower legislation receiving just two votes. 

We'd wager Presler is probably feeling pretty awkward right about now. The grifter had built an image as the guy who could get the job done. Yet it seems like the only thing he could do was stalk and harass John Thune without end for months. Perhaps Trump should invest in help with actual track records. Maybe if Presler wasn't so focused on selling books, crashing dinners, and romping in RNC offices, things would have panned out differently.

That's not to say this is the last we've heard of the SAVE Act. Knowing Presler, he's ChatGPTing a bunch of tweets primed for September once the Senate reconvenes. But as it stands, Presler's proven to be the loser that we've always known he was.
